In Piura there are two very important handcrafted centers for the quality of their works and tradition that these villages cultivate from generation to generation:
Catacaos, is considered to be the handcrafted capital of Piura and Chulucanas is well known by the exquisite works of ceramics of mud that have given the round-the-world trip conquering foreign markets.
Catacaos
Is a picturesque east town. It is to 12 km from Piura's city, Its root is principally in the culture Tallán and it is characterized by the production of cotton, of great quality for its texture and long fibers. It is extremely quoted in the country and abroad as well.
