Ayabaca
 It’s located in the north of Piura department at 2175 metres above sea level. We can generalize by saying that all the zone is ideal for the ecotourism. However, we can stand out some places for their peculiar characteristics such as "Nuestra Señora del Pilar" church where is the Lord of Captive of "Ayabaca" whose principal celebration is from 11 to 15 October.
The citadel of Aypate, a stunning archaeological complex, is located at 32 km from Ayabaca. There are carved rocks in Samanga, writing in different rocky forms at 45 KM of Ayabaca in the Olleros valley at 20 km of the city. The forest of Cuyas is located in the Cuyas Hill at 4 km of Ayabaca which has a dense forest vegetation where you can find a great variety of orchids. Besides, there are a varied and valuable flora and fauna. There is a museum and an orchid nursery.
 In Ayabaca, you can find the Huamba lagoons, a set of 7 ones located at 3500 metres above sea level in front of the hill Ayapate at 32 Km of Ayabaca.

Sechura
The "Macizo de Illescas" is located at 70 Kilometres in the south of Sechura, between the sea and the desert. In its gullies, there were settings of different stages of the history. It’s surrounded by several virgin beaches like: Punta Shode, Las Loberas, Nunura, Avic, or Reventazón where you can find sea wolves and penguins of Humboldt. One of the most beautiful way of enjouying these animals that live in the sechura coast is going along near the coast on a boat.
Another of the Sechura natural attractions is the estuary of Vimilá, a natural area with approximately 7 thousand hectares where there is a great variety of flora and fauna. This sea estuary has occasional flows of sweet water of the Piura River. It’s located at 35 kilometres.
In the south of Sechura its major natural wealth is focused in the broadest part (not in its union with the sea) where one emphasizes the Flemings' presence, cranes, plovers, pelicans and gulls.
 It is possible to get it for an asphalted road in good condition. Although to penetrate, it is necessary to walk a bit because the area is not suitable for vehicles. In addition, the environment is ideal to realize walks in boat and treks. When the tide is low small islands are formed and the landscape changes without losing its captivation and beauty.
A very peculiar flora is in San's Pedro Swamp. This one is an ecosystem created environment to place a water mirror, 20 km. In the north of Sechura. In this surface of 1200 hectares, there are more than 300. They are presided by the mangrove that turns the landscape into an idyllic environment where there are small islands with great variety of fauna and flora.
From Piura, 39 Km are crossed on the road and after approximately 10 Km more on a carriage up to these swamps "manglares". Another way of coming is taking a trail carriage for 1Km and a half before getting to Chulliyachi. Anyhow, it is advisable to have care with the area in the surrounding areas of the swamp: though the soil looks dry, there could be mud and the vehicles are in risk of getting beached.
In full center of Sechura's extensive desert, you can find the permanent "lagunas de Ramón" lagoons of Ramon, The "Salinas" and Ñapique. These mirrors of water allow the practice of several aquatic sports, the camping and the fishing, adding the attraction of being placed in a picturesque environment. The waters of these lagoons join to several rivers like The Piura, "La Leche"(The Milk), and Cascajal, after the rainy phenomena of "El Niño" (The Child) for the formation of the Lagoon "La niña" (The Girl) that disappears after approximately half a year.
